About Us

“Most business disputes are not simply legal problems. They are situations where value, relationships, and long-term outcomes are at risk.”

— Jonny Lach

Experience That Reflects Real-World Complexity

When founders, owners, investors, or partners enter into conflict, the consequences often extend far beyond the immediate issue:

  • Enterprise value can begin to erode

  • Leadership focus shifts away from growth

  • Relationships fracture

  • Sensitive matters risk becoming public

Jonny Lach founded Dispute Resolute to provide a more thoughtful and effective path to resolve complex disputes before they escalate into more costly and disruptive outcomes.

In addition to his legal background, Jonny brings extensive experience as:

  • Chief Investment Officer

  • Investment consultant

  • Portfolio manager and founder

  • Family office and corporate executive

  • Investment banker

  • Governance and investment committee member

  • Board member

A Different Perspective on Disputes

Having spent his career working with investors, boards, and complex business structures, Jonny understands that disputes are not abstract.

They directly impact:

  • Capital

  • Control

  • Reputation

  • Long-term business outcomes

This perspective allows him to approach mediation not just as a legal process, but as a business-critical decision-making process.

Clarity in Complex Disputes

Dispute Resolute applies a disciplined and practical framework to resolving complex business conflicts. The following outlines our approach to mediation, the disputes we focus on, and the founders, investors, and attorneys we work with.

In many situations, the most successful resolution cannot be determined in a courtroom

It is achieved through structured, thoughtful dialogue that allows all parties to move forward
